Murali Architects, Chennai one of the leading design firm designed new age classrooms for GB Public School situated at Melmaruvathur. The classrooms utilised all latest equipment’s like trendy furniture’s, overhead projectors and Movable Partitions for dividing various classrooms. MODWAL was specified for Movable Partition requirement in eight classrooms. One of the features of the Movable Partition was to have in built acrylic writing board and chalk board in both sides for directly conducting classes on the Movable Partition itself.

System utilised guideless track and four wheel trolley system. The track was fixed directly at the beam bottom and baffling was done to arrest the sound leakages. The panels where made of invisible trims and the finishes where divided as writing board from 1.2 meters to bottom & 800mm to the top. The centre portion of height 1.2 meters was made to be chalk board for writing purpose.
